Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Threat Detection Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute standards and processes to manage and reduce the risk of cyberattacks
• Lead the development of automations and orchestrations to enhance security operations
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and deliver metrics/reports at various organizational levels

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in incident response, security engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in creating automation/workflows for security operations
• Strong experience in identifying telemetry gaps in security monitoring
• Experience in developing cybersecurity metrics and leading purple team exercises
