Public Sector Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Sector Architect to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence and consult on federal architecture requirements and ensure compliance with US government security standards
• Provide technical leadership for the federal authorization process and develop a comprehensive security architecture aligned with FedRAMP and DISA requirements
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, design security controls, and collaborate with stakeholders to address security-related concerns

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting complex solutions on AWS, with knowledge of Azure/GCP as a plus
• Strong knowledge of DoD and federal civilian compliance standards, including NIST and FISMA
• Expertise in cloud architecture and federal product boundary protection requirements
• Ability to design architectural diagrams and documents
• Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge
