At Modelit, we are looking for a candidate who is mission-driven, self-reliant, flexible, and detail-oriented. The Senior Salesforce Administrator (with Project Management focus) will be the main point of contact for client support and will work closely with client teams to maintain and optimize their Salesforce instance. This person will have the confidence to make Salesforce-related decisions in the best interest of the client-driving both development and support efforts, building positive relationships, and transforming high-level ideas into actionable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Partner with clients to identify areas of improvement and optimization, prioritize enhancements, and create executable plans.
Collaborate with the internal support team, including architects, developers, administrators, testers, and trainers.
Act as a comprehensive project owner, leading client meetings, analyzing budgets and trends, and maintaining priority lists and backlog.
Gather requirements and coordinate efforts for instance enhancements and org maintenance.
Stay up to date on Salesforce product releases—especially those related to NPSP, Nonprofit Cloud Case Management (NCCM), and NPC—to guide clients on best practices and innovation.
Work with architects, developers, and other consultants to ensure solutions are designed with the end goal in mind—not just technical fit, but mission alignment and long-term success.
Facilitate training sessions when needed, based on a deep understanding of the client’s processes and the configured solution.
Act as the point of contact for development teams, providing clarifications and responses to business requirements and functional questions.
Perform configuration tasks and/or make updates to the solution as needed.
Identify opportunities for future improvements and solution expansion, guiding clients beyond reactive support toward long-term value realization.
Act as a strategic partner, using a consultative mindset to understand client challenges and uncover new opportunities.
Transform ideas into actionable plans that optimize operations, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable value for clients.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing Salesforce products, preferably with a Salesforce consulting partner.
Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
Skilled in managing tasks and priorities across internal and external teams.
Excellent communication skills to manage multiple platforms (internal and client-facing), as well as the ability to guide clients and collaborate cross-functionally.
Familiarity with AI, automation tools, and modern cloud solutions that enhance CRM ecosystems.
Advanced conversational English.
Nice to Have:
Comfort using AI tools for analysis, automation, or user experience improvement.
Experience with nonprofit organizations and mission-driven clients.
Experience using or implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Nonprofit Cloud (NPC).
Experience with Agentforce or other AI-enabled Salesforce features.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Teamwork Desk or equivalent platforms.
Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that ensure a positive user experience and a maintainable, scalable Salesforce environment.
Strong client management skills to maintain scope, communicate estimates, and deliver on commitments.
