QA Automation Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Automation Lead to drive quality assurance practices and lead a distributed QA team.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish Automation Framework: Design and implement test automation standards using Playwright for web, mobile, and API testing
• Hands-on Development: Write, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts, dedicating 60-70% of time to coding
• Sprint Integration & Accountability: Drive QA excellence within Agile sprints by establishing testing timelines and quality gates

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/Test Automation experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Expert-level proficiency in Playwright with experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Experience in manual, unit, integration, regression, and automated testing methods
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
