R&D Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an R&D Software Engineer III.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software development engineers to create custom research builds of EnSiteTM system software
• Prototype and refine signal processing and 3D graphics algorithms in partnership with applied research scientists and engineers
• Test algorithm concepts through simulations and hands-on bench testing, while documenting findings for cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of practical software experience specifically using C++; advanced education may substitute for some experience
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and software development tools such as Visual Studio, Jira, and Perforce
