Registered Nurse Clinical Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits on client data for coding completeness and accuracy to ensure appropriate reimbursement
• Respond to provider appeals and meet required turnaround time and KPI goals
• Provide feedback to management on changes to enhance editing and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Active professional license as a Registered Nurse; BSN preferred
• 2 years of professional experience in direct patient care
• Coding Certification preferred or required to obtain within the first year of employment
• Required to obtain NY Independent Insurance Adjuster licensure within the first four months
• Strong working knowledge of medical procedures and treatment practices
