Regulatory Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel to support its Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs function.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on federal and state legislative and regulatory matters affecting healthcare and pharmaceuticals
• Monitor and evaluate legislative and regulatory developments, educating stakeholders accordingly
• Draft legal memoranda and policy responses, and support advocacy for healthcare access and innovation

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences regulatory work
• Strong foundation in federal and state regulatory frameworks; experience with 50-state surveys preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on proposed legislation and complex policy changes
• Must be based in Washington, D.C
