Remote Applications Security Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applications Security Contractor to join their Information Security team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build services using Akamai WAF technology as part of the Digital Replatforming initiative
• Manage and enhance day-to-day operations of Akamai WAF and Bot Management technologies
• Provide security analysis and recommendations to development and application teams while ensuring effective security controls

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Akamai WAF and Bot Manager, including policy tuning and configuration
• Experience in application security with knowledge of web and mobile application development methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of securing AWS cloud environments and APIs
• Understanding of application and API security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
