Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accounting Manager with experience in federal government contracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities and manage the corporate accounting department's operations
- Establish financial status by developing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports while ensuring compliance with accounting methods and policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- 6 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
- 2 years of federal contract accounting experience
- Strong MS Office skills and project-based ERP system experience
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations
