Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative I - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies for status on outstanding claims and process appeals
• Maintain accuracy in accounts receivable and follow up on assigned work queues
• Communicate with patients regarding payment arrangements for outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience in healthcare and accounts receivable preferred
• Basic math skills and understanding of medical terminology
• Knowledge of insurance processing, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel
