A company is looking for a NOVA Admissions Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform insurance notification, verification, and authorization activities to secure patient accounts
- Coordinate with clinical staff and insurance companies to ensure accounts are secure prior to admission
- Document account information thoroughly and explain financial requirements to patients
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, or insurance
- 3 years of directly related experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred)
