A company is looking for a HME Patient Services Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls for new orders and service requests, providing assistance to customers
- Obtain and enter accurate intake information from health care providers to initiate the referral process
- Complete insurance verification and follow up with payers, providers, and billing entities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with commonly used office software products
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Previous experience in customer service or familiarity with home medical equipment is preferred
