AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to lead the transition from AWS to Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of AWS infrastructure shutdown as the company transitions to Shopify
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary AWS services
• Conduct quarterly audits of the AWS environment post-shutdown to review resource usage and billing

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or in a similar cloud infrastructure role
• AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) is preferred
• Strong expertise in AWS cost optimization and resource decommissioning
• Experience with eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify
• Experience leading or supporting cloud migration projects
