Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business and approve policy changes
• Meet or exceed assigned production goals and maintain workload
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and market products and services

Required Qualifications

• Licensed in corresponding areas of insurance or willing to obtain licensure upon hire
• Ability to understand and analyze components of insurance policies
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
• Ability to recognize trends in the insurance industry and incorporate them into strategies
• Experience with company automation tools including Windows, Word, and Excel
