Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Care Technician to provide medical guidance and support to clients through a live chat function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to live chats from clients regarding their pets' concerns and provide relevant medical guidance
- Gather patient history and triage information to assess needs and document client interactions
- Assist with administrative queries related to billing and other topics as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as a credentialed veterinary technician
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a credentialed veterinary technician in a clinical setting
- Availability to work 20 - 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-discipline and accountability
- Comfort with technology and communicating effectively via text/chat messaging
