Catastrophic Care Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Catastrophic and Rehabilitation Referral Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage referrals for Catastrophic and Complex Durable Medical Equipment (DME), ensuring proper authorization before delivery
• Provide updates to referral sources, providers, and injured workers regarding DME status and delivery confirmation
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure timely delivery of DME and maintain customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Some college credit and/or relevant experience in a related discipline
• At least one (1) year of experience with complex referrals, DME processing, or related fields
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other software
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
• Compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance initiatives
