Claims Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to process dental claims and provide customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve claims rejected by the auto-adjudication process
• Interpret procedure codes and ensure appropriate processing of claims for dental, vision, and hearing products
• Manually process claim re-submissions and provide second reviews of claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years of related experience required
• Experience in a dental-related field or claims processing environment is helpful
• Proficient in using personal computer systems
• Ability to adapt to new procedures and changes in laws
