Clinical Research Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Research Medical Director, Endocrinology/Obesity/Diabetes, US - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical/scientific knowledge for the global evidence generation plan for metabolic assets
• Plan and guide clinical trial design and implementation
• Act as medical monitor during clinical trials and oversee the authoring of clinical study reports and regulatory submissions

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of clinical research experience and/or basic science research
• Five years of clinical research experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in obesity or related conditions
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements
• Leadership experience in a complex matrix environment
