Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to secure and support mission-critical applications and infrastructure within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain security controls for AWS-hosted applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Develop automation scripts and utilize tools for security tasks and compliance reporting
• Investigate and remediate security incidents, contributing to incident handling procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of cloud security experience, particularly with AWS environments
• Hands-on experience with STIG compliance and managing POA&Ms
• Proficiency in AWS tools and strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Understanding of cloud service models and container security technologies
