Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Representative, Collections (P&C).

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicates with agents, debtors, and collection agencies to expedite the collection of premiums and/or deductibles
• Initiates collection calls and explains premiums owed to policyholders and agents
• Maintains account status, processes payments, and monitors collection agency activity

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in business management, insurance, or finance preferred
• Two to three years of related collections and customer service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of collections practices and basic knowledge of insurance policies preferred
• Ability to analyze audit/financial information and make decisions for resolving disputes
• Must demonstrate the company's values consistently
