Contract Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reconciliation Specialist to join their Mortgage Servicing team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve aged reconciling items in payment clearing accounts
• Match transactions from multiple sources to identify discrepancies
• Maintain documentation of reconciliation activities and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or financial operations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is a plus
• Ability to work independently on complex issues
• Experience with mortgage servicing systems and general ledger platforms is a plus
