Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and streamline day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage general ledger accounting, prepare journal entries, and handle ad hoc requests
• Oversee accounting for revenue, COGS/inventory, manage accrual processes, and perform balance sheet reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in ecommerce or direct-to-consumer businesses
• Advanced experience with Excel and exposure to NetSuite
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with accounting for inventory is a plus
