Job Summary
A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to join their contract management department in the health insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute complex new and renewing custom member and employer contract documents
- Conduct detailed analysis of incoming requests to ensure correct documents are issued
- Research and respond to general and group-specific contract issues and create legal files
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years of experience in a customer service/public contact role with health plan document writing experience
- AHIP or CEBS course work or other appropriate certification preferred
- Two years of experience in the health care insurance field with knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated training/auditing skills
