CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate GL Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries related to multiple service locations by analyzing account information and activity
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and annual close and financial reporting procedures
• Support external financial audits and prepare ad-hoc expense variance explanations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred
• 2+ years in Accounting functions with increasing levels of responsibility required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required
• Understanding of financial reports and GAAP guidelines required
