Job Summary

A company is looking for a Departmental Technician 7-E9 in the Customer Support Section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance for the Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) program, including database management and client eligibility evaluation
  • Review and evaluate medical documents and electronic enrollment applications for accuracy and eligibility
  • Resolve discrepancies between various systems and prepare correspondence related to CSHCS services
Required Qualifications and Education
  • High school diploma or GED Certificate
  • One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7-level in state service
  • One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the 8-level in state service, or equivalent administrative support experience
  • Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year at the intermediate level for E9 classification
  • Completion of two years of college or a Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience requirements at various levels
