Key Responsibilities
- Understand and apply department processes and regulatory policies
- Manage and prioritize incoming claims and correspondence to meet turnaround times
- Conduct outreach to gather necessary information for claim management
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in a disability claims environment
- Experience with state-mandated disability claims is highly preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state laws on leaves of absence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
