Key Responsibilities
- Accesses client hospital information systems to retrieve medical documents and information for hospital claims processing
- Logs into hospital systems to gather requested documents while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conducts monthly reviews of client systems for payment transactions and reports discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Adherence to HIPAA requirements
- Moderate computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to learn hospital information systems for document retrieval
- Strong organization and documentation skills
