Intermediate Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intermediate Database Reliability Engineer (US).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, build, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-based database infrastructure
• Implement automation processes to reduce toil and improve database system management
• Provide database support to engineering and SRE teams, including performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with relational database systems
• 1+ years in a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure; Azure preferred)
• Coding and automation experience
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform
