Investment Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Investment Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting processes for monthly and quarterly close, focusing on real estate funds and property financials
• Prepare investment disclosures for financial reports including 10Q K and Financial Supplement
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate accounting for new investment transactions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Finance Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting, Math, or Statistics; advanced degree or CPA preferred
• Experience in accounting and reporting for investments
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting pronouncements and US insurance statutory reporting requirements
• Experience with financial instruments, including fixed income and equity securities
