Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster to manage medical and indemnity benefits associated with injury and occupational disease claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete work objects for Adjusters and return calls to providers for medical updates, billing, and treatment approvals
- Approve bills through work objects and participate in weekly team huddles
- Evaluate claims and establish action plans to manage benefits cost-effectively
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience handling lost time claims in Kentucky, Nebraska, and Indiana
- Must have lost time claim handling experience
- Experience with MS Teams and Outlook preferred
- Background and drug screening required prior to onboarding
- Mid-Senior level experience in Accounting/Auditing within Medical Practices and Insurance industries
