Key Responsibilities
- Process member payments and address billing inquiries
- Provide accurate information regarding coverage plans and assist with prior authorizations
- Handle claims inquiries and provide status updates on claims processing
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in claims examination, health insurance, or customer service
- Proven experience in customer service related to claims processing or billing
- Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
