Medical Collection Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Collection Specialist, Full-Time (Hybrid/Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform extensive insurance claim follow-ups for denials and appeals
• Interact with payer representatives and various internal departments
• Correct claims and file appeals with supporting documents to insurance companies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3 to 5 years of experience in office billing and collections
• Knowledge of insurance, billing terms, CPT/ICD10, coding, and DRG
• Strong medical insurance background
• Experience in medical collections, preferably in hospital billing/collections
