Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Dispatcher to manage and prioritize incoming support requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming IT support requests through various channels
  • Assess, categorize, and assign incoming tickets to appropriate IT technicians based on priority and availability
  • Track ticket progress, provide updates to clients, and maintain accurate records of support requests
Key Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or certification in IT or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or dispatcher role is a plus
  • Basic understanding of IT terminology and familiarity with computer systems, networks, and software
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, JIRA) is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
