Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative 1 (Medical Bad Debt Collections).

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate payment with patients/guarantors through inbound and outbound calls while addressing customer inquiries
  • Perform routine account management tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with service level agreements
  • Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve patient account issues and recommend process improvements


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of experience in a call center environment or similar role within the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Expert knowledge of patient access services and the revenue cycle
  • Experience managing high volumes of inbound or outbound calls
  • Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives and work effectively in a team environment
