Job Summary
A company is looking for a Member Advocate I to act as an advocate for members and facilitate access to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to member complaints and grievances, identifying and resolving access barriers
- Investigate and address access and cultural sensitivity issues reported by various stakeholders
- Engage with local community organizations to understand members' healthcare needs and update educational materials
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred
