Job Summary

A company is looking for an RX Refill Specialist to manage prescription refill requests and collaborate with medical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill requests via calls, live chat, and electronic transmission
• Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and ensure patient safety in medication refills
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacies to facilitate timely medication access for patients

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician course and/or Medical Assistant training program
• Preferred certification as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician
• 1+ years of experience in Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant roles, particularly with prescription refills
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athena Health, and handling high call volumes
