Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network security alerts using monitoring tools
• Provide Tier 1 Networking and Security operational support to meet compliance and security requirements
• Respond to and resolve automated alerts generated from the monitoring system in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a security-related role
• Experience working with a SOAR or SIEM for incident monitoring and response
• Understanding of security concepts and technologies including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Knowledge of common network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are required
