A company is looking for a Senior Pharmacy PA/Appeals Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer prior authorization inquiry calls and resolve formulary and benefit issues
- Process prior authorizations through multiple computer systems ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Handle inbound phone requests and gather member data for pharmacist consultations
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted licensure/certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- 6+ months of customer service experience with healthcare professionals
- Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
- Currently located in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, or Utah
