Job Summary

A company is looking for a Complex Commercial Claims Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictions, particularly heavy in New York
• Licensing preferred, especially in New York
