Key Responsibilities
- Manage facility, provider, and member inquiries, appeals, and balance billing
- Review and resolve balance bills and appeals through negotiations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain clear documentation of claim resolutions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma; BA/BS preferred
- Two or more years of experience in a medical healthcare claims role
- Background in healthcare claims management, including provider hospital billing
- State licensure certification may be required
- Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills
