Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Call Center Technician who will work remotely to support patient care in specialty pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate prior authorizations and communicate with third-party payers on behalf of patients
- Manage patient refills and schedule necessary assessments while ensuring accurate data entry
- Provide financial assistance information and initiate patient assistance applications as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Alternatively, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with an agreement to update registration within six months of hire
- Detail-oriented with the ability to apply pharmacy standards and policies
- One year of experience in a pharmacy technician role is preferred
