Operations Technician II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Technician II who will monitor, maintain, and manage networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent acknowledgment and response time to alarms and customer calls
• Analyze, diagnose, sectionalize, isolate, and resolve trouble situations
• Manage and guide restoration bridges or calls to facilitate fixes with other teams

Required Qualifications

• Three plus years of related experience
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia platforms
• Proficiency in Layers 2 & 3 switch and router configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with isolation of telecom equipment trouble
• Knowledge of Element Management Systems (EMS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) is a plus
