Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage denied inpatient referrals and handle a high volume of cases daily
- Schedule and document Peer to Peer calls with payers and CorroHealth Medical Directors
- Support various departmental functions, including case entry and appeals support
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm)
- Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
