Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Associate - Collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Process billing and collections for patient medical claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and other parties to clarify account situations and facilitate collections
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, maintaining accountability for timely processing of claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
• Experience with medical collections and insurance claims submission
• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and third-party payer regulations
• Computer literacy; Excel experience is a plus
