Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Payroll Accountant to manage payroll general ledger activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Balances and validates posting of payroll to general ledger for multiple employers and ledgers
- Monitors and prepares payroll accruals and account validations ensuring accurate reflection of outstanding liabilities
- Maintains compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley internal reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2+ years of Payroll accounting experience preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
