Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on accounts to resolve outstanding balances with payors and patients
• Research accounts using patient accounting applications and internet resources, and document actions taken
• Assist in training new or existing staff and support team members with backlogged accounts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in navigating various system applications
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process and knowledge of insurance billing and collections
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
