Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the recording and reconciliation of RSU transactions for payroll reporting
• Perform reconciliations related to payroll amendments to meet Q3 deadlines
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of W-2c filings and associated payroll tax records

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll operations or as a Payroll Tax Specialist
• Strong understanding of W-2 and W-2c forms, including taxes reported and corrected
• Experience with equity compensation (e.g., RSUs) and related tax implications is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with major payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Oracle, etc.) is preferred
