Job Summary
A company is looking for a New Sites Privileging Specialist responsible for ensuring that all providers are processed and credentialed prior to their start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the company and client facility medical staff professionals
- Maintain accurate and updated information for all providers and ensure timely initial privileging appointments
- Coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing processes in accordance with company standards and The Joint Commission requirements
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 2 or more years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with credentialing software
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred
