Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume requests for confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines
• Compile department statistics and generate reports to assist in achieving departmental goals
• Perform document imaging functions and distribute records to requesters in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of post-high school education in medical records and information systems or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong technical skills in Windows software applications and electronic health record systems
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health information practices and principles
