Samoan Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Samoan to/from English - Legal Documentation - Translator, Editor and Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while ensuring adherence to legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal translation and/or editing
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription using relevant software
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Samoan
